Meet the Erin behind

Everything by Erin

-Erin Persche-

My love of sewing and creating began many years ago when my Grandma and I would spend afternoons designing clothes for my dolls and blankets for my Bryer horses.  I then began sewing in 4-H as a first year member and continued for eleven years. I had the opportunity to learn from some of the most amazing leaders during that time. My skills developed and expanded with each project.  I continued my sewing education while at the University of Wyoming where I received a degree in Animal Science.  I used a few of my electives to take some sewing classes.  After college I began making gifts and things for my house. The Everything By Erin brand was born in 2014 and has lead to much success and many enjoyable hours spent sewing and creating custom creations.

My family has always been a huge part of every part of my life and my niece and nephews have been a huge inspiration for Everything By Erin.  When my mom struggled to find a stick horse for my niece’s first Christmas it got me thinking about the handmade stick horses we rode as kids and the Everything By Erin stick horse line was born.  I have found a wonderful man who supports my ideas and big dreams and we have so much fun together.

Growing up on the family ranch in rural Wyoming gave me a love for the wide open spaces, time spent with family and an appreciation for hard work.  I’ve been blessed with some amazing horses to ride over the years; whether a day spent moving cows or an evening spent at the arena or just listening to the horses eat; my life is so much better with my horses in it.  I have a highly energetic border collie Maggie that adds her opinion to everything and keeps everyone around her laughing at her antics.

I’ve started my thirteenth year as a rodeo secretary and I absolutely love the chaos of the job.  Summers are spent traveling to rodeos, barrel races and team ropings across the Rocky Mountain Region.   The adventures and challenges that this job has been filled with are many and are highlighted by the wonderful people I've met and worked with.  I love each day spent in the crows nest and am so blessed to have a job that I truly love.
