An Artic February

Brrrrr! What a record breaking cold snap we’ve had this past 10 days. I’ve been so glad to be snug and warm at my house the last few days. I’ve enjoyed today working on a few custom orders, updating the website and working on Everything By Erin in general. When my world became so chaotic last December my time for sewing, creating and working on Everything By Erin seemed to disappear. Trent had hernia surgery, my dad had a massive stroke and we were busy planning our wedding and then COVID hit. Thankfully life has mellowed out significantly these past few months and I have been so excited to find my creative bug again and get back to the sewing machine. I’m happy to report that my Dad is doing really well, our wedding was an adventure to plan but we got to say our I do’s in October and married life is treating us well.

It was fun to incorporate Everything By Erin into our wedding with our ring bearers riding their custom stick horses to carry our rings down the aisle! I think they stole the whole show with how cute they were and how much fun they had with their horses. The pictures of our nieces and nephews in the wedding are certainly some of my favorites of the entire day. After all the chaos of planning, postponing, planning again and then moving the entire wedding to a new venue and state was all worth it when we were blessed with a beautiful day surrounded by family and friends. You’ll find a few wedding pictures spread throughout the website - so be on the lookout!

My goals for 2021 include writing blog posts on a regular basis, getting some product in stock that will be available for purchase and ready to ship that day as well as creating lots of custom orders as well as do I little sewing for myself.
